The application period is now over, with hundreds of potential riders signing up for a chance to join the grid
Registration for the 2026 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup is now closed. From the 20th of June to the 20th of July, hundreds of riders submitted their applications in the hope of earning a place on next year’s grid.
This year’s campaign saw another incredible response, with more than 400 applications received from nearly 20 countries across the region. The journey to Sepang now begins.Each application is currently under review by our expert panel. The list of selected riders invited to the next stage – the 2026 Selection Event – will be published on the 18th of August 2025 at www.asiatalentcup.com.
What’s next?
The Selection Event will take place at the Sepang International Kart Circuit in Malaysia on 22nd October 2025, just before the Malaysian Grand Prix.
There, the shortlisted riders will take to the track for a full day of evaluation, both on and off the bike. The most promising talents will be chosen to join the 2026 ATC grid and begin their journey.
