As the sun began to set behind the high banking of the Motegi circuit, the qualifying session of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup got underway and track temperatures along the start straight began dropping rapidly as shadows crept across the track.
With two 30-minute sessions on the track today (Friday) the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup riders had plenty of time to learn the eight right and six left corners of the 2.9 mile Twin Ring Motegi circuit.
The 22 riders of the 2014 Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup will head for Motegi for their seventh race of the year, coinciding with the MotoGP™ World Championship’s visit to the Japanese venue.
A total of 174 candidates have been invited to the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup 2015 Selection Event to be held at the Sepang Circuit, on 27th and 28th October.
